TOO HOT TO TROT 2010. Proudley sponsored by Raine & Horne Ashfield
The first tournament for 2010 has been completed. Known as the Too Hot To Trot Ladies Triples it is held over the four Saturday mornings of February. It is the ideal warm up for the forthcoming Inter Club Competition known as the Pennants. This years competition attracted 20 top teams all eager to claim the Tournament Crown. The first weekend was a washout but it still left 6 very tough games played in great spirit and with some great bowls. On the final day of play Saturday 27th February perfect conditions were in place for the teams to enjoy thier game and determine a winner.

The winners of this year's competition was won by the composite Ashfield Team of Joy Jorssen, Mona Downs & skip Kitty Gallagher with 6 wins and a margin of 51shots. It was also a double celebration for Mona Downs who celebrated her birthady on the final day of competition. This is a remakeable result for this team considering that both Joy & Mona have been playing for a very short period of time. In second place from Randwick was the team of Margaret Kenneday, Moto Koderea and Taryn Keir with 6 wins and 42 shots, finishing off a podium finish in 3rd place was Chris Nicholas, Marie Whitbread and Shirley Hines of Lidcombe with 5 wins, 35 shots.
